This policy explains how the iOS and watchOS app “Soradama” (the “App”) handles user information.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. No account is required, and the developer operates no server that receives user data.
To show the weather where you are, the App uses your device's location (latitude and longitude) only with your permission. Those coordinates are sent to the weather data providers solely to retrieve a forecast. They are never linked to your name or any other identifying information, and they are never stored outside your device. You can turn location access off at any time in iOS Settings; the App remains fully usable by searching for a city by name.
The App uses the following services to retrieve weather data. Only the coordinates or city name needed for the forecast are sent.
The App shows no advertising, performs no behavioral tracking, and uses no analytics tools to collect usage data.
The cities you choose and the last forecast retrieved are saved on your device only, for convenience. Deleting the App deletes this data with it.
